The Limpopo police continue to ensure that violence and abuse around school premises is eradicated especially now that it has become a thorn across the country.
Today the police in Tolwe around Mahwelereng Policing precinct embarked on a school safety campaign at Sekhung Primary School. The campaign was led by the Station Commander, Captain Thulare who addressed the leaners on various issues.
Amongst issues addressed were the following:
*Learners must report to teachers if they come across any criminal elements at their homes.
*The youngsters were also encouraged to study hard and become successful in life and that can only be achieved by refraining from drug and alcohol abuse.
The members aim to conduct more visits, school searches and campaigns around the schools.
