The first step towards change is awareness through education. On Tuesday, 31 July 2018 SAPS Bethelsdorp and their CPF members visited Sanctor Primary school in Bethelsdorp and spoke to the learners about bullying, safety and motivated them towards a positive future.

These learners come from the Northern areas where gang violence, drug and alcohol abuse is rife. Police spoke to them about reporting crime and to refrain from joining company that will impact negatively on their life’s choices. In showing that we, the SAPS cares for them, chocolates were handed out to each learner. The school’s management welcomed these talks and has invited the police to regularly visit the school as early childhood education is the key to a better society.
