Former Mwadhina Gwanembenge CS learners and teachers raise N.dollars 300 000

The funds will be used to renovate the dilapidated infrastructure at the school.



Speaking at the occasion, Minister of Industrialisation and Trade, Lucia Iipumbu indicated that they celebrate the rich history and remarkable achievements of their school, which remains a beacon of excellence that has consistently produced professionals who have made significant contributions to their nation and beyond.



According to Iipumbu, the school was established for the purposes of academic and moral education, with a key aspect on religious education.



‘Investing in education is not a task that can be shouldered by the government alone, as it is their collective responsibility that requires the active participation of individuals, businesses, and communities,’ she said.



Iipumbu then urged the school management to also acknowledge and safeguard all kinds of assistance provided to them.



School Principal Immanuel Aron, said that their aim is to create an environment that will continue to inspire future generations of learners to come.



According to Aron, they want to turn their vision for the school into a reality by ensuring it becomes a place of excellence and innovation.



The former learners and teachers of Mwadhina Gwanembenge CS gathered at the school grounds to reminisce about their years at the school.



The event was held under the theme, ‘Celebrating Our past, Embracing Our Present, and Investing in the Future of the Namibian Child’.:
