Kimberley: The Northern Cape multi-disciplinary Operation Vala Umgodi team, tasked to combat illicit mining activities, arrested a 32-year-old male suspect following the assault on his 26-year-old partner on Saturday, 15 March 2025 in Greenpoint, Kimberley.

According to South African Police Service, the team, which was engaged in an outreach campaign activation in Greenpoint, discovered the assaulted female at her grandparent’s home.
