GCIS hosts post SONA media briefings to outline plans announced

Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) will host a series of cluster media briefings following the 2022 State of the Nation Address (SoNA) delivered by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The briefings will outline areas that the President mentioned in his speech related to departments in the clusters.

Government clusters are groupings of government departments with cross-cutting programmes.

The main functions of the clusters are to ensure the alignment of government-wide priorities, facilitate and monitor the implementation of priority programmes and to provide a consultative platform on cross-cutting priorities and matters being taken to Cabinet.

The media briefings will commence with the Governance, State Capacity and Institutional Development (GSCID) cluster.
