OSHAKATI: A 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a 21-year-old Angolan woman at Omulamba location at Oshikuku on Saturday.
Namibian Police Force (NamPol)’s Commander for the Omusati Region, Commissioner Ismael Basson, said the incident occurred during the early hours of Saturday.
‘It is alleged that the suspect entered the victim’s unlocked rental room and raped her,’ he said.
Basson indicated that the suspect will make his first appearance before the Oshakati Magistrate’s court on Monday.
Police investigation into the matter continues.
