Policing challenges and crime concerns faced by residents of Umlazi in KwaZulu-Natal, are set to take centre stage as community leaders of the area, meet with the Police Ministry and the management of the South African Police Service (SAPS) to find solutions.
The consultative engagement will see identified community organisations including the Community Policing Forums (CPF) in and around Umlazi policing precinct discuss issues of crime, response of the police as well as policing concerns and challenges with the aim to find interventions through community policing partnerships.
Members of the media are welcome to attend the consultative meeting which will unfold as follows.
