The Minister of State for Health, Dr Olorunnimbe Mamora, has appealed to the National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration and Control, (NAFDAC), to reduce product listing costs for traditional medicines in view to improving access to Universal Health Coverages (UHC), in Nigeria. Mamora said traditional medicine is the first responder to about 80 per cent of rural dweller Nigerians as the concept of UHC also looks at the issues of availability of care, accessibility and affordability.
