The business activities of the Okakarara Annual Trade Fair in the Otjozondjupa Region is set to commence on Monday morning at the Okakarara Trade Fair Centre . Organising committee member of the event , Golden Katjatako in an interview with Nampa on Sunday said the Okakarara Town Council is the custodian of the trade fair which is scheduled to take place from 02 – 08 September 2024 at Okakarara . Katjatako stated that a total of 40 major Namibian companies have registered to participate , as well as 25 small and medium enterprises ( SMEs ) and 10 local businesses for the kapana meat delicacy . ‘ We still have a big space for the local kapana businesses , as our 2024 theme is Transformative and Sustainable Innovation of SMEs on National Resources ,’ said Katjatako . President Nangolo Mbumba is the Patron of the Okakarara Trade Fair , and is expected to officially open its business activities on 05 September 2024 , he said .
