EASTERN CAPE – SAPS Whittlesea detectives are on the hunt for three suspects who allegedly robbed a security guard of an undisclosed amount of money today, 6 July 2021.
It is alleged that the complainant, two employees and a security guard were returning from a local bank in Strand Street, Whittlsea when two suspects grabbed the money bag while the third suspect pointed her with a firearm. Suspects fled in a beige Toyota Avanza. The money belonged to a cash loan business.
Police are appealing to anyone who can provide any information relating to the suspects or their whereabouts to contact Whittlesea Police Station on 040 842 6138, or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest Police station.
