Popular shareholding in Bam: The High Commissioner invites his constituents to follow in his footsteps

Ouagadougou: The High Commissioner of the Bam province, Adama Jean Yves Béré, joined the Popular Action for Community Entrepreneurship this August 3, 2024 in Kongoussi, before inviting the populations to commit massively.

It was through a public conference which brought together all the driving forces of the Bam province that the Cooperative Society with Board of Directors ‘Building the Future’ (SCOOP-CA/BA), developed the vision of the National Agency for the Promotion of Community Entrepreneurship (APEC) for the benefit of participants.

According to the secretary general of SCOOP-CA/BA, APEC’s technical partner, Sanoussa Sawadogo, APEC is divided into four major projects.

This involves drilling to boost agricultural production, the construction of two tomato processing plants in Bobo-Dioulasso and Tenkodogo, the production of gold on site, and finally the construction of ‘a purchasing center for the benefit of producers.

For him, only patriotic commitment through massive subscriptions can help finance t
hese projects, the cost of which is estimated at 100 billion FCFA.

The high commissioner of the province of Bam, Adama Jean Yves Béré, and the prefect president of the special delegation of Kongoussi, Abel Dayamba, each subscribed to the project immediately.

The High Commissioner also invited the populations of the Bam province to join the project by subscribing and paying for shares.

‘APEC is a project initiated by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. This is why I invite you to register massively for the success of the project,’ explained the High Commissioner.

Remember that APEC representatives sit at Kongoussi town hall and that registrations are still continuing.
