President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Tuesday 21 June 2022 deliver the eulogy at the Official Funeral of King Zanozuko Tyelovuyo Sigcau (Zanozuko!!!) of the Royal House of the amaMpondo Kingdom.
President Ramaphosa has honoured the late King Zanozuko Tyelovuyo Sigcau by declaring a Special Official Funeral Category 1 for His Majesty.
His Majesty was inaugurated as King of the AmaMpondo nation in 2018.
King Zanozuko Sigcau passed away late on Tuesday, 31 May 2022, following a period of illness.
Funeral proceedings will commence at 09h00 tomorrow at the Ndimakude Great Place at Flagstaff in the Eastern Cape.
King Zanozuko Sigcau’s funeral will feature military ceremonial elements in accordance with the Category 1 status of this occasion.
