President Ramaphosa’s Upcoming Engagements Unveiled


Pretoria: Presidential Spokesperson Vincent Magwenya has briefed the media on President Cyril Ramaphosa’s programme for the upcoming weeks. The announcement details several key engagements that the President will undertake.



According to South African Government News Agency, President Ramaphosa’s schedule begins with attending the inauguration of Namibia’s President-elect, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, on Friday, 21 March. Following this, he will address the Water and Sanitation Indaba, which commences on 27 March. On the same day, the President is set to receive letters of credence from Heads of Mission from 14 countries.



On March 28, President Ramaphosa will deliver the keynote address at the Women Economic Assembly. His subsequent official engagements include hosting Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema on 3 April.



Further into April, President Ramaphosa will open and speak at a three-day Police Summit starting on 9 April. On the same day, he will tour the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and review its flagship programmes. Additionally, he will attend the conference of the International Association of Women Judges.



Magwenya concluded the briefing by stating that any changes to the President’s schedule would be communicated through various updates and media advisories.
