WINDHOEK: A 19 – year – old schoolgirl was allegedly raped on Saturday after two boys gained entrance into the girls ‘ hostel at Rietquelle High School in the Aminuis Constituency in the Omaheke Region . A 20 – year – old suspect has been arrested while the other is yet to be arrested , Namibian Police Force Head of Public Relations , Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi noted in the weekly crime report issued on Sunday . ‘ Once they gained access , one of them went straight to the victim ‘ s bed , covered her face with a blanket , undressed her and raped her ,’ Shikwambi said , further stating that the incident occurred at 02h00 . The suspect who is also a hostel learner claims to have mistaken the victim ‘ s room with that of his girlfriend who allegedly resides in a room next to the victim ‘ s . Police investigations are ongoing .
