POLOKWANE The Police led by the SAPS Groblersdal Cluster Commander, Brigadier Mogwaneng accompanied by the SAPS Hlogotlou Station Commander, Luitenant Colonel Manosoe, the Social Crime Prevention Coordinator, the Rural Safety Coordinator and the Station Communication Officer, visited Hlalanekahle village in the Hlogotlou policing area, today.

The visit emanates from the murder of an 11yearold boy, Katlego Mokwana who was allegedly killed by his 28yearold mother, Nthabiseng Mokwana who buried his body in a halfbuilt house.

The Community leaders invited the Station and Cluster Commander to discuss the incident.

Members of the community are not satisfied with the manner in which the police handled this matter originally while attending to the first complaint when it was reported.

Brigadier Mogwaneng and Lieutenant Colonel Manasoe responded to all the concerns raised during the engagement. Police pleaded with community members not to take the law into their own hands and avoid public violence.

They were encouraged to support the Community Policing Forums and collaborate with the Police.

The community was advised to immediately contact the police about any criminal activities taking place in the Hlogotlou policing precinct.
