South Africa’s Tourism Industry Sees Surge in International Visitors

Pretoria: South Africa’s tourism industry is experiencing a robust recovery, with an increase of 1,108,222 international tourists recorded between January and September 2025, compared to the same period last year, as reported by Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille. The Minister highlighted that this growth signifies not just a recovery but an economic boost driven by tourism.

September alone saw 846,367 visitors, marking a 26.9% rise compared to September 2024.
