STERKSPRUIT – Sterkspruit Sector Managers visited two schools in the area for Safer Schools awareness campaign at Sector 3, Voyizana SPS and Mvumelwano SSS.

The most important topics that were discussed included the following:

The issue on Drug and alcohol abuse,

Human Trafficking.

Bullying,

Sexual offences perpetrated against children and

Dangerous weapons.

The Firearm Amnesty period were also brought under their attention so to share it at home with adults.

Bad behaviour towards parents and teachers will have a negative impact on your school career. Have respect for your elders.

The visit by the SAPS members was appreciated by the SGB and the personnel at school.

The acting Cluster Commander, Colonel Chris Wright encouraged the members to continue with these positive initiatives to have a positive impact on the lives of our young children.
