The weather outlook for the week includes cloudy and cool conditions over the eastern parts of the country on Monday, with scattered to widespread rain and thundershowers. Severe thunderstorms may develop in the afternoon over Limpopo and Mpumalanga. On Tuesday, similar conditions will persist, with scattered to widespread rain and thundershowers in Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and KwaZulu-Natal. Partly cloudy and warm conditions are expected elsewhere, with isolated showers in the North West, Gauteng, and Free State.

The possibility of flooding due to heavy downpours varies throughout the week, with a low to medium chance on Monday and Tuesday in Limpopo and Mpumalanga. By Friday, the chance increases to medium in the Free State, North West, Gauteng, and parts of the Eastern Cape, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga.

Potential severe thunderstorms are expected with varying probabilities across different regions. Monday and Tuesday carry a low to medium chance in Limpopo and Mpumalanga, while by Friday, the probability rises to a medium chance in the Free State, North West, Gauteng, and the eastern half of the Eastern Cape.
