Rounds five and six of the Zambezi Regional Second Division Football League will be played on Saturday and Sunday at the Katima Mulilo Sports Complex, with nine games scheduled for this weekend.
In the early hours of Saturday, King Fisher Football Club will face Black Bufalloes FC, followed by Space Age hosting Rocano King Rangers and Blue Chiefs facing Sahara. Namib Chiefs will meet Bush Bucks and Power Dynamos will face Shooting Stars in the final game on Saturday.
Sahara will take on Space Age on Sunday. The game between Black Bufalloes and Bush Bucks has been postponed to suit the first-division league fixtures.
The league’s administrator, Ngwama Vuyalo, told Nampa on Thursday that there have been delays and postponements of games due to the unavailability of sports grounds, as the league must share the venue with other teams, particularly those in the Northeast first division league.
Other games scheduled for Sunday will go ahead as planned, with Power Dynamos taking on Namib Chiefs, Rocano Chiefs fa
cing Shooting Stars, and Blue Chiefs taking on Green Eagles.
Oryza Sativa, the current league leaders, will continue their fixture next weekend since they have played the most games in the league thus far.
