Police appeal for information to locate a missing woman

LIMPOPO – The Police in Lephalale are appealing to members of the community to assist in locating a 20-year-old woman, Raesetja Sabina Moraba from Onverwacht who reportedly went missing on 16 May 2021.

She was allegedly last seen going to the local Mall at about 14:00 driving in her mother’s Toyota Yaris vehicle, metallic green in colour with registration numbers DNG 094 L.

Moraba, a former student nurse at Randburg Medi-Clinic in Gauteng Province, was last seen wearing green tracksuit pants with maroon emblem and white All Star sneakers.

Randburg police station temporarily closed for decontamination

GAUTENG – All communities serviced by Randburg police station are advised that the police station has been temporarily closed for decontamination after a positive test for Covid-19.

The Community Service Centre will be operating from station’s Pink room which is situated inside the premises.

The telephone lines at client service centre will not be accessible for the duration of closure.

The building will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be operational again.

Germiston police station temporarily closed

GAUTENG – Germiston Police Station will be temporarily closed for decontamination due to COVID-19 related matter.

The Community Service Center will be temporarily at the mess hall no: 10 long street Germiston

Drugs, ammunition and livestock confiscated, five arrested

WESTERN CAPE – The vigilance of members attached to the Flying Squad landed three suspects behind bars for dealing in drugs. During the early hours of this morning the members stopped a suspicious vehicle in Gugulethu and conducted a search which led to the discovery of two 70kg bags of dagga with an approximate street value of R50 000-00. The three male occupants of the vehicle aged 45, 49 and 61 were arrested and are expected to make a court appearance in Athlone once they have been charged.

In an unrelated intelligence driven operation in Elsies River drugs and ammunition were confiscated yesterday. Members of the Cluster Crime Prevention Unit reacted on information and seized 2000 mandrax tablets and 185 different calibre ammunition found in a wendy house in 35th Avenue. Arrests are yet to be made.

Meanwhile two suspects are expected to make their court appearance in Malmesbury this morning for stock theft after they were apprehended by the Stock Theft and Endangered Species Unit in possession of a Merino sheep valued at R3000-00 during the weekend.
