South Africa calls travel bans ‘draconian, unjustified’

JOHANNESBURG: South Africa’s Health Ministry on Friday attacked a global rush to impose travel bans to slow the spread of a new Covid variant as “draconian,” unscientific and contrary to WHO advice.
