South africa: President Cyril Ramaphosa has, in terms of section 98 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa of 1996, appointed Minister Stella Ndabeni as Acting Minister of Health. This appointment is effective from 24 August to 30 September 2026.
According to African Press Organization, Minister Ndabeni will assume all responsibilities and functions of the Minister of Health during this period. This temporary appointment comes as Minister Motsoaledi is on sick leave.
