KIMBERLEY – A 41-year-old man is expected to appear in the Pampierstad Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of dealing in drugs.
The suspect who was under police surveillance was apprehended on his premises in Kolong Street, Pampierstad on Friday, 15 July 2022 during an operation dubbed “Safe A Life”.
The Operation led by members from Hartswater Crime Intelligence with the assistance of Hartswater K9 narcotic dog and High Way Patrol raided the suspect’s residence to conduct search and seizure actions.
The suspect was found in possession of thirty (30) quarters of mandrax tablets and one (1) half mandrax tablets to the value of R600-00 including money believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The Northern Cape Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major General Otola commended members for their relentless efforts in removing drugs from society and squeezing the space for drug dealers to operate.
